After the rain that fell in the early morning(officially 0.45" at Philly International Airport) we cleared out and had sunshine(and fair weather cumulus) through the afternoon. We reached a high of 78 which is pretty much our average high for this time of year(it's 80 now).
Overnight will be mostly clear with lows in the middle 50s; Friday will be sun-filled with a northwesterly wind as highs will be around 80 degrees thanks to high pressure on top of us. And guess what? High pressure remains parked on top of the region for not only Saturday but Sunday as well! Highs on Saturday will be in the lower 80s while Sunday will be in the middle 80s.
We'll cloud up in the late afternoon on Sunday ahead of a cold front, but rain should hold off until the overnight; lows will be in the middle 60s and highs on Monday will be in the lower 70s with morning showers and thunderstorms and then partial clearing in the afternoon. There will be series of low pressure pushing through Monday evening through Tuesday evening so the days will be partly sunny with highs in the middle 70s while showers and thunderstorms will be confined to the evenings.
