Some dressed in bikinis. Others wore shorts, tank tops, and sundresses. All together, several hundred singles in Los Angeles gathered at the Beverly Hilton at the first-ever Summer Splash celebration.
The singles party supported the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, who received over $1500 from ticket sales of the event.
Several Los Angeles networking groups pooled together their resources and lists including, Three Day Rule, EOW, In Pursuit Networking, and Renee Simlak Productions.
"This party was a new take on our singles parties that usually happen at night," said Talia Goldstein, co-founder of Three Day Rule. Goldstein added, "The same elements were there -- a DJ, drink specials, and hundreds of people. People were just wearing less clothes."
If you missed the Summer Splash, Three Day Rule will be hosting another summer event on August 24, 2011 at Fred Segal in Santa Monica. “It will be fun to watch singles pickup clothing, while picking up on each other," adds Goldstein.
