New details are emerging in the case where three bodies were found in Connecticut over the weekend. The Courtant shared the latest details on Dec. 9.
A man is said to have shot the three bodies found in Connecticut and then killed himself Saturday night. It seems that one of the women, Brittany Mills, had been trying to end her relationship with John Louis Lynn. The two had a 13-month-old son together and they had been involved on-and-off for the past five years.
Late Saturday night, shots were fired in Manchester, Conn. and police arrived to find a man in the parking lot with a handgun and a 13-month-old child. He put the child on the ground and then shot himself. Then the police found the three bodies in the Connecticut apartment. Three woman, identified as Brittany Mills, Kamesha Mills and Artara Benson, had all been shot and killed in the apartment.
Kamesha Mills and Artara Benson are cousins of Brittany Mills, and they had gone to the apartment to check on Brittany when she wasn't answering her phone Saturday night. It seems that the quick response of neighbors to call the police as they heard shots may have saved the young boy. Police arrived within minutes and confronted Lynn, and luckily the young boy was physically unharmed.
The incident of Lynn killing himself and the three bodies found in the Connecticut apartment seemingly tell yet another heartbreaking tale of domestic violence. The extended Mills family mourns the loss of the three cousins, who are said to have been extremely close throughout their lives.
