The three bodies found in Connecticut have been identified. On Dec. 9, the Christian Post reported that all three women that were murdered were mothers. They have been identified as Brittany Mills, 28, Kamesha Mills, 23 and Artara Benson, 46. The suspect, 41-year-old John Louis Lynn shot and killed himself in front of police -- and in front of his 13-month-old son.
"Brittany Mills had been trying to end her relationship with John Louis Lynn, 41; the couple shared a 13-month-old son. On Saturday, Lynn went to Mills' home and killed her, then killed her cousins, Kamesha Mills, and Artara Benson," the Christian Post reports.
The three bodies were found in a Connecticut apartment complex after police approached John Louis Lynn. As previously reported, neighbors called 911 to report gunfire. Police found Lynn outside of the building with his 13-month-old. After an unknown amount of time passed, Lynn put his son down and shot himself, turning this gruesome scene into a murder-suicide -- something police learned soon after.
"Police said that the couple was involved in a child support dispute, with Mills filing a contempt charge and wage garnishment request against Lynn. She had been trying to end the relationship for at least two weeks but Lynn was 'over there all the time,' relatives told the Courant. They never expected things would turn so violent," reports the Christian Post.
The three bodies found in Connecticut have all been confirmed by the medical examiner. The 13-month-old is in protective custody.
