Three arrested for aggravated burglary

On May 24, 2014, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s deputies responded to a Lake Charles residence where three men broke into a home. The investigation revealed once inside, the three men beat a man and a woman who were inside the residence. The suspects fled with the victims’ purse and wallet.

Wendell Craig Lee, 50, 1818 South Tallow Wood Drive, Lake Charles; and Kelly Ray Esthay, 43, 424 Broussard Ln., Lake Charles were apprehended following a traffic stop later that morning. The third suspect, Jeremy D. Foster, 37, Vancleave, MS was arrested later that day at a home on Nelson Rd.

All three suspects were booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and each charged with 1 count of Aggravated Burglary. Esthay’s and Foster’s bonds were set at $25,000 each. Wendell’s bond was set at $10,000.

CPSO Detectives Brent Young and Casey LaFargue are the lead investigators on this case.
