THQ confirms the sale of remaining assets

On Feb. 26, THQ confirmed they will be selling all remaining assets. While the sale was hinted at last month by former president Jason Rubin, the company has now confirmed that all unsold intellectual property will be sold in a process that is expected to end by mid-May.
Some of the franchises that will be part of this selling process include “Red Faction”, “MX”, “Darksiders”, “Destroy all Humans”, “Summoner”, and “Big Beach Sports”. Licensed software up for grabs include “Worms”, “Marvel Super Hero Squad”, and several others.
Interested parties will have until April 1 to submit their bids, with final bids due two weeks following. Once they determine the highest bidder, the sales will be submitted to a court for final approval a month later.
THQ’s other assets including “Metro”, “Company of Heroes”, and “Saint’s Row” were sold in January. The license to sell WWE titles was picked up by Take-Two last week.
