While there will be less than a million people in attendance, roughly half the number of spectators as four years ago, there will be no shortage of protectors with guns.
At least ten states have sent National Guard troops who have already been sworn in, advised of their duties, and armed to protect the President and those closest to him.
Additionally, State Troopers from around the nation have also been called into service.
These men and women will add to the ranks of the Secret Service, local police, Homeland Security, Coast Guard, and unspecified air support from multiple fighter jets tasked with securing the air space above the District of Columbia.
Active-duty military will also be on hand, with Fort Bragg alone sending some 250 warriors to march in the inaugural parade.
According to ABC News, the swearing-in will cost taxpayers some $1.24 million, with the bulk of the expenditures for security and yes, portable-toilets for the masses.
The total bill for the second-term inauguration will ring in at approximately $170 Million.
NBC reports that there was "unlimited" corporate funds for this event.
