On October 15, 2013, Wichita/Sedgwick County Crime Stoppers officially announced the approval of the One Thousand Dollars reward and payout – the payment is going to the tip informant who offered the valuable scoop that finally led to the arrest in a fatal hit and run accident.
Lloyd Ferguson and a child were riding on horseback when their horse was struck by a car on July 5. The vehicular collision occurred on July 5 of this year and took the life of Ferguson. The vehicle fled the scene leaving death and any/all responsibility behind.
It was ultimately the tip received by Crime Stoppers at the end of July that broke the case wide open and led to the arrests in this fatal hit and run case.
