Keep On

So many time the thought comes in our mind it is not worth the agonies we go through. We question the cost and the toll it takes on our lives. Some might say we are wrong in doing so, but I feel we should take account from time to time to gain a true perspective on what we are doing.

I do understand God has a plan for us, we can either surrender to his plan or resist. Life is easier if we just give in to Gods will and let him direct us. There is one problem with this ideal, we are human, being human we have a nature about our selves which cause us to desire to do it our own way. This desire was given to us by God, he gave us free choice, so we may say why.

Free choice is the one thing that God gave us in order to find people who would truly desire to serve him, love him, and follow him. God could have just created us to serve out of demand but he didn't, he wanted us to desire to serve him by choice. By allowing us to make this choice he was able to have a relationship with a created being that wanted to be his friend. Notice those words wanted to be his friend.

If we reflect on those words we come to a realization of a true friendship. Having a friend who desire to be close to you, a friend who desire a know about you, having a friend who truly cares. That is a friend you can trusts, a friend who you can count on and be there when you need them. The one true test of a friendship and love for God come from his word, God tells us if we love him we will keep his commandments. This is where so many fail, they say they love God, but they go through life trying to do things there own way, see we are back to that free choice. We have choices and every choice effect us and our live, many do not realize every choice we make also effect those around us.So let me end with a question, Do you really love God? Then why do you make the choice you do that pull you away from the best friend you will ever have?
