Thorn Dragon is one of two promotional set premiere cards from Wizards of the Coast's upcoming "Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters" expansion set "DragonStrike Infernus." The other is Cybersphere Dragon.

One way to take advantage of Thorn Dragon is by playing with creatures like Nix, which reduces the mana cost of Cybersphere Dragon by one. There's a whole cycle of five of these creatures, one for each civilization. With six or more in your deck there's a high chance you'll be able to bring the cost of Thorn Dragon down to five or less.
Because Thorn Dragon is a Dragon it can enter the battle zone for free with Hammer Dragon Foulbyrn and break an extra shield when Necrodragon of Vile Ichor enters the battle zone. You'll find both in the "Dragon Master Collection Kit."
