At Toy Fair 2013, the toy-manufacturing powerhouse Hasbro displayed toys for all sorts of upcoming toy lines. One of those toy lines was based on the sequel to the Marvel Comics film, "Thor," called "Thor: The Dark World." Along with Loki, the best baddie in the Marvel movie universe, the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim make their first appearance in film.
These creepy creatures definitely look like some kind of mythological demons or something out of "Lord of the Rings" or another fantasy story. With Loki manipulating them, they will be a lethal force for sure. "Thor: The Dark World" slams Mjolnir into theater screens on November 8, 2013. Directed by Alan Taylor, a relative unknown with some lesser known films and some tv show episodes under his belt, Chris Hemsworth reprises his role as Thor, Tom Hiddleston returns as the nefarious Loki and Natalie Portman comes back as Jane Foster, the human love interest of Thor that keeps him interested in the planet. November cannot come soon enough.
