Beloved by little boys around the world, HIT Entertainment has announced that in Spring 2011, (a year after Thomas and Friends' 65th anniversary), Thomas will be the star of his own feature length movie.
In case you didn't know, Thomas is big business these days. One engine has been sold every 17 seconds over the last 15 years (wow!). More than 50 million Thomas and Friends books have been sold worldwide and more than 45 million DVDs and VHS tapes have been sold in the U.S. alone. A full featured movie will likely trounce those figures and make Thomas even more popular (if possible).
The move is expected to made in computer-generated graphics so that the mouths of the characters actually move.

Very interesting. Thanks for dropping some knowledge on us. But, I think going to Day Out With Thomas is about as much Thomas fun as I can take. :)
