A Thomas Gibson DUI arrest video was released by TMZ Jan. 8. The "Criminal Minds" actor was arrested around 1 a.m. Sunday morning after driving his SUV through a barricaded section of LA for a half-marathon. He ignored warnings not to drive down the blocked off areas and proceeded in his vehicle.When police caught up with him, he was placed under arrest. In the video footage, five cops got involved trying to cuff Gibson.
One policeman is heard on the tape yelling, "Get on the ground, NOW!"
Immediately after that, more cops ran to the actor -- struggling with him as though he was resisting arrest. Gibson was heard reacting to the physical force while he was on the ground.
"Why?! Why!?" he said.
The "Criminal Minds" star told cops he wasn't resisting arrest.
"I am NOT resisting ... I am NOT resisting!"
Once Gibson was restrained and cuffed, he was helped up and taken away from his vehicle by police. Later that morning he was held at a nearby station booked on a DUI charge -- and released on $15,000 bail.
