The Texas Humane Legislation Network is hosting a party to celebrate the end of the most successful legislative session ever, including the first-ever Texas law specifically targeting puppy mills. The event will be held at Sambuca Restaurant in Uptown from 5-8 p.m. this Sunday, August 21st. Tickets are only $30 and include two free drinks and a reception buffet. There will be a silent auction featuring local animal artists and photographers, as well as raffle prizes and THLN merchandise for sale.
The purpose of the evening is two-fold – to celebrate the passage of animal-friendly legislation, and to help THLN raise money for the next fight for animal protection legislation.
For more information, or to purchase tickets, visit the THLN website.
