This year’s Flower Power Concert Series line-up announced

Braving through the winter weather makes dreaming about a vacation to Disney that much more desirable. As the country bundles up to stay warm, the Walt Disney World Resorts are already planning for spring. Plans are in place for this year’s International Flower and Garden Festival held at Epcot. This year, the festival will run from March 5 through May 18, 2014.

Everyone knows the Flower and Garden Festival is not complete without its live entertainment. Disney recently announced this year’s line-up for the Flower Power Concert Series. Let’s take a look at who will be featured during this year’s festival.

  • March 7-9: The Guess Who
  • March 14-16: Gary Lewis and the Playboys
  • March 21-23: The Orchestra starring former members of ELO
  • March 28-30: The Lovin’ Spoonful
  • April 4-6: Paul Revere and the Raiders
  • April 11-13: The Village People
  • April 18-20: The Grass Roots
  • April 25-27: Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone
  • May 2-4: STARSHIP starring Mickey Thomas
  • May 9-10: Chubby Checker and The Wildcats
  • May 16-18: Alan Parsons Live Project

Showtimes at the American Gardens Theatre are every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 5:30 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Admission to the Flower and Garden Festival is included with theme park admission to Epcot. Check back for more details regarding the festival, including entertainment, exhibits and dining options.
