This weekend: Will Smith in "Men in Black 3" (Photos)

Will Smith returns a third time to the hugely successful "Men in Black" franchise, this time adding a surprise ending - and Josh Brolin as a young Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) - to the mix.

While you won't find any spoilers here, "Men in Black 3" takes Smith's Agent J back in time when he learns that K's life and the planet are in jeopardy. J teams up with the young Agent K to save "his partner, the agency and the future of humankind," and on the way discovers a few secrets of the universe that K never told him.

Alrighty then. Nothing too deep, but "MIB3" is expected to do well at the box office and, with its PG-13 rating, offer a nice little diversion for the entire family.

"Men in Black 3" opens wide in 3D today.

In related news - other than slapping reporters for trying to kiss him in the mouth - Will Smith confirmed to BET's 106 & Park that he's been in touch with Martin Lawrence about "Bad Boys 3," another sequel Smith and Lawrence fans have been waiting for. Smith says both he and Lawrence have read a few scripts and are ready to go, but says "the story's gotta be right."
