This weekend, 'The November Man' closes summer movie season

This Labor Day weekend sees the release of a few new movies in theaters, including the thriller “The November Man” and the horror flick “As Above, So Below”. A couple anticipated indie films also make their St. Louis debut this Friday. Nationwide Releases:

As Above, So Below”: This horror film directed by John Erick Dowdle follows a group of explorers who uncover dark secrets and confront personal demons in a series of catacombs underneath Paris. Runtime: 93 minutes. Rated R for bloody violence/terror, and language throughout.

The November Man”: This thriller directed by Roger Donaldson stars Pierce Brosnan as Devereaux, an ex-CIA agent who is called back for a deadly mission involving his former pupil. Runtime: 108 minutes. Rated R for strong violence including a sexual assault, language, sexuality/nudity and brief drug use.
