We can all half-heartedly complain about the bitter cold because we all have somewhere to go to warm up. I don't know, but I can guess that there is no discomfort worse than having a hunger that can't be erased and seeking shelter that can't be made your own. The two most basic needs we have are food and shelter and there are too many who go without. We are a wealthy nation, but we're not so good at sharing it. So whether you are a regular volunteer, charitable donor, or give what you can when you can, we're working to make our community a better place for all. One of the largest organizations working with and within the greater Boston area is The Greater Boston Food Bank.
One of my favorite events, that I try to attend every year because it's such a fun way to give is this weekend. The Super Hunger Brunch is held at some of the most delicious restaurants around town and it involves a lot of people working together for the greater good. The restaurants donate 100% of the proceeds to the Greater Boston Food Bank. The staff are donating their time. The diners are there enjoying a meal that perhaps they wouldn't have gone out for, because their money is going to such a good cause.
Let's all go out for Brunch!
Reservations are now open! To make a reservation, please contact the restaurant directly. 100% of the proceeds go toward The Greater Boston Food Bank and help them in our mission to end hunger here.
