Oak trees will also be planted in Mission Trails Regional Park on Saturday, December 7th. Volunteers are asked to bring their own gloves and shovels, if possible, but some may be provided. Or, they can cheer on and encourage the people planting the trees. Meet at the equestrian staging area off of Mast Boulevard in the East Fortuna area (northeastern part of the park). For more information, call the park’s visitor’s center at 619-668-3281 for more details.

San Diego Audubon will have a nature walk at El Monte County Park on Saturday, December 7th 8 a.m to 11 a.m., weather permitting.
