This weekend: Rockage 2.0 promises plenty of indie music and retro gaming

Like peanut butter and jelly, indie music and retro video games are a sweet combination that you can spend an entire weekend enjoying. Come February 8-10 Rockage 2.0 will feature music, video games, food trucks, and panels for a well-packed weekend at the San Jose Woman's Club.

Rockage 2.0 celebrates indie music and video gaming and encourages people to participate in both with over 25 bands and DJs performing throughout the weekend as well as over 100 video games and consoles set on free play. Some of the musicians like the Minibosses incorporate video game themes and sound effects into their music to bring in a nostalgic feeling while producing a unique sound. Other musicians are of the nerdcore, pop, and hiphop variety.
