This weekend play indoor golf at Virtual Sports Zone (Photos)

Might as well bundle up the clubs and beat the deep freeze by booking some indoor rounds at Virtual Sports Zone.

Men and women from Orleans, Cumberland and Rockland can choose from 60 world-famous virtual courses when they visit the spacious indoor golf playground in Rockland.

Here are available screen times for the next three days:

  • Jan. 25: Three HD simulators are open during the day until 6 p.m.
  • Jan. 26: Three HD simulators are available from 6 p.m. until closing and one can be booked during the day until 6 p.m.
  • Jan. 27: One HD simulator is bookable from 11 a.m. until closing and four HD simulators are available from 6 p.m. until close.

If players would like to mix indoor golf while watching some NFL championship action, then owner Donald Prezeau has them covered. Plans are in the works for a Super Bowl bash on Feb. 3.

VSZ is fully licensed and when it’s time for a bite to eat the staff serves pizza slices from Jumbo Pizza or will place orders with a nearby St. Hubert. There’s also a pizza special that includes two slices, a pop and a bag of chips for $5.99.

Seniors play for only $20 per person when games are booked for between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. and a Visiotics simulator is bookable for $10 per person, per game.

VSZ invites groups planning special events such as birthday parties, stags and anniversaries to contact them for full-service package information.

The hours of operation are from 9 a.m. until midnight on weekdays and from 8 a.m. until midnight on weekends.

VSZ is located at 733 rue Industrielle, Units 3-4, in Rockland. It is easily accessible off Old Hwy. 17.
