At Davies Symphony Hall this Saturday, July 19 at 7:30 p.m. (in addition to Friday, July 18 and Sunday, July 20), the San Francisco Symphony presents Pixar in Concert, complete with visually stunning clips and memorable scores from each Pixar movie, including its latest release Monsters University. Sarah Hicks will conduct during each event.
In addition, Pixar filmmakers will share behind-the-scenes insights. On July 18 and 20, Toy Story 3 director and Finding Nemo co-director Lee Unkrich will host Pixar in Concert. Also hosting July 18 is John Lasseter, Chief Creative Officer of Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Animation Studios. On July 19, Ratatouille and The Incredibles writer and director Brad Bird will host.
Specialty cocktails will also be on tap. These are:
· Scream Extractor (Bulleit bourbon, soda, sugar, bitters, orange wheel, maraschino cherry)
· Red Headed Princess (Ketel One vodka, cranberry juice, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, salt, cucumber slices)
