Osho's Aum Meditation takes each participant through 13 stages of interactive meditation that uses bio-energetic and emotional exercises that will allow one to "let go" and heal past issues that are stuck in the body and mind. This will allow participants to move forward in their life and live moment to moment helping to deepen one's understanding of oneself and deepen new and old friendships with others.
The 13 stages addressed in this meditation:
- Negativity (hate/hell)
- Forgiveness (love/heaven)
- Stamina (second wind)
- Life Energy (kundalini rising)
- Chaos (cuckoo's nest/gibberish)
- Cosmic Dance
- Crying (meltdown)
- Laughing (lighten up)
- Chakra Awareness
- Centering
- Chanting
- Silence
- Respect
This 4 hour meditation will be broken up into two 2-hour sessions with a short break in between. Light refreshments will be served during the break.
Osho was an Indian mystic, spiritual teacher and guru, whose teachings focused on the importance of meditation, awareness, love, courage and creativity. He believed that society suppressed these things in individuals and tried to help people rediscover these qualities in themselves.
