This Weekend: Opening Ceremony For The New Library At Maryam Masjid

Come to celebrate the inauguration of the brand new library at Maryam Masjid this weekend, Saturday March 29th following Mahgrib prayer. The event will include a speech by guest speaker Janette Grant, a short talk given by Dr. Mamdouh Salama, guided tours of the new library, dinner and will be facilitated by Imam Taquer of Maryam Masjid.

The MIC library has been established for the weekend school and for the Maryam Masjid Community members. Members will be allowed to check out books and libary cards will be issued. The hours of operation for the library will be Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 2:00pm, however, Maryam Masjid is hoping to extend these hours in the future. Free library cards will be available at the event.
