This weekend, “Transformers” returns to the big screen with a new cast in the fourth film in the series. Will you be seeing it, or has this franchise overstayed its welcome? Read about it below, and leave a comment at the bottom letting us know.

Transformers: Age of Extinction”: Directed by Michael Bay, this fourth film in the “Transformers” franchise centers around mechanic Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg), who, along with his daughter Tessa (Nicola Peltz), makes a discovery that brings the long-since disappeared Autobots out of hiding. They also catch the attention of a group of businessmen and scientists trying to advance technology by studying the Transformers, as well as a powerful Decepticon who starts targeting Earth. Available for viewing in 3D. Runtime: 165 minutes. Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action, language and brief innuendo.
