George R. Brown Convention Center will be full of felines Saturday and Sunday, January 5 - 6, 2013, for the Houston Cat Club Diamond Jubilee 60th Annual Charity Cats Show. The pedigreed pet and the household pet will be appraised side-by-side by the best feline judges in the nation. And not only for their good looks. Feline Agility competition is also on the agenda.
If you have never been to a cat event like this, now is your chance. Entered cats are given numbers and an owner will take his cat to the judge when the number in called. While they are waiting cat recline in large elaborate cages which look like the cat version of a travelling master bedroom. Spectators can walk the aisles visiting the cats of their choice in the comfortable abodes.
Vendors come to these competitions to market cat-related wares and equipment such as leashes, cages, litter boxes and a variety of feline climbing trees. But you will also find everything from a Mary Kay booth to Laurel Burch bags to solid gold jewelry and original artwork. For a shopping experience like no other, come to George R. Brown this weekend.
