This Weekend: Hockney docent talk at de Young

Interested in learning more about David Hockney, one of the best-known British artists of his time? The de Young Museum, which is featuring a large exhibit of Hockney’s work, is also presenting a docent talk on the topic on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.

The museum exhibit, which is the most expansive of the de Young’s history, features approximately 300 works ranging from agrarian landscapes to bright images using an iPad.

Admission to the docent talk is free with museum admission itself. The de Young Museum is located in Golden Gate Park, 50 Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive. For more information, email or call (415) 750-3638.
