This weekend: Find the blues in and around Atlanta, March 1-3

March is upon us and that is a special month for me because on Monday, the 4th, I will have been married to my amazing husband for 13 years. Sometimes it seems this older woman, younger man thing may just work out for us! Also, I have a birthday later this month.

Whether you have special days to celebrate or are just celebrating life, live blues makes every day special!

Here's where to find the blues this weekend:

Friday, Blind Willie's has a special anniversary too: their 27th! They will be celebrating with
"Kings of the Keyboard, " with Eddie Tigner, Ironing Board Sam, and Bob Page. Truett Lollis will be at 120 Music Hall with Alechemy and Tyler Porch.

Leonard Blush has a birthday bash at Darwin's in Marietta Friday. It's the drummer who has the birthday! John Sosebee is at Fat Matt's and Barry Richman is at Nik's Place in Marietta. The Jumpin' Jukes are at Spiced Right Rib House in Roswell.

Saturday, Blind Willie's Kings of the Keyboard celebration continues.with Eddie Tigner, Bob Page and Ironing Board Sam. Mudcat comes to Blind Willie's and Beau Hall is at Nik's Place in Marietta. Seminole Jackson is at Fat Matt's and The Electromatics entertain at Northside Tavern.

Also Saturday, Beer, Bourbon and BBQ is taking place at Altantic Station with music by Men in Blues and The Jagged Stones along with Culleton, Dean and Hall.
