It's time this weekend to snuggle up to some warm blues. Never mind the weather outside. The blues warms you from the inside out1 Here's where to find the live music this weekend:

Friday, The Piedmont Playboys (including Mudcat) are playing at Darwin's in Marietta. Little G Weevil is at the Black Bear Tavern and Sandra Hall is at Blind Willie's. Rumble Fish is at Fat Matt's and The Breeze Kings visit Hottie Hawgs. Stoney Brooks is at Northside Tavern.

Saturday, Chuck Leavell: Celebrating Georgia Music takes place at the Atlanta Smyphony Hall with Gregg Allman Jimmy Hall Robert McDuffie, The Randall Bramlett Band and The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. The Georgia Roots Festival also takes place at Woodruff Arts Center with the McIntosh County Shouters, the Georgia Crackers, The Albany Civil Rights Institute Freedom Singers, The Thomas Dorsey Choir and Mudcat.

Also Saturday, Francine Reed joins The Shadows at Blind Willie's. Grace Curran High/Falutin Band is at Darwin's and DC & Set It Off are at Fat Matt's. The Cazanovas have their send off party for the IBC at Northside Tavern. Truett Lollis plays Steve's Live Music.

Sunday, Blind Willie's hosts a benefit for the Atlanta Mission and The Atlanta Food Bank with The Luxury Kings, Rolling Stone tribute band The Stoneberrys, The Doors tribute band The Dirty Doors and The Stooge Brothers. Also, The Atlanta Blues Society has its monthly meeting at Locals in Acworth with The Rhythm Raiders entertaining. Please come check it out and join if you haven't already.

Also Sunday, the Billy George Duo hosts the blues brunch at Cypress Plate and Pint and Fat Back Deluxe is at Fat Matt's. Uncle Sugar is at Northside Tavern and Little G Weevil is at Nik's Place in Marietta.
