This weekend: Find the blues in and around Atlanta, January 11-13, 2013

It's almost the weekend again, so it's time to look at where to find the live blues around Atlanta!

Friday, the fabulous Francine Reed joins The Shadows at Blind Willei's. The Rhythm Yard plays at Darwin's, while Little Joey's Big Band is at Fat Matt's. The Breeze Kings are at The Intercontinental Hotel. Beverly "Guitar" Watkins rocks Northside Tavern!

Saturday, Big Bill Morganfield is at Blind Willie's. The Psycho DeVilles are at Darwin's (ok, more rockabilly than blues but still REALLY ccool!) The Jumpin' Jukes are at Fat Matt's and The Breeze Kings continue at The Intercontinental Hotel. Ike Stubblefield performs at Northside Tavern and The Cazanovas are at North River Tavern in Sandy Springs.

Sunday, Uncle Sugar is at Northside Tavern as always.

Also on Sunday, there is a Bryan Cole Celebration of Life party to benefit Bryan's wife Lisa ay Smith's Olde Bar .Admission is free but obviously donations are expected. Here's the lineup:
