This weekend: Find the blues in and around Atlanta, February 7-9

As Valentine's Day approaches, love is in the air and so is great live blues music! Here's where to find the blues this weekend;

D.B.A. Barbeque is featuring six days of live music during Mardi Gras, actually starting tonight with Rod Hamdallah. Friday, D.B.A. has Parker Smith and the Bandwidth.

Also Friday, Nick Moss and The Fliptops are at Blind Willie's and Darwin's has AJ Ghent, Little G Weevil, fresh from his win at the IBC, is at Jalapeno Joe's in Hiram. Reguba Troupe and Larry Griffith are at Sweet Georgia's Juke Joint.

Saturday, Darwin's has a Mardi Gras themed party with Lola Gulley and Damon Fowler is at Blind Willie's. Mudcat and The Atlanta Horns are at D.B.A. and Atlanta Boogie is at Fat Matt's. Little G Weevil is at North River Tavern.

Sunday, The Breeze Kings Acoustic Duo is at D.B.A. and Tony Bryant is at Fat Matt's. Uncle Sugar is at Northside Tavern.

That's it for this weekend! Please feel free to add any local blues event I missed in the comments and on the Keep the Blues Alive page on Facebook. Have fun and keep on bluesin'!
