This Weekend: Events with the Islamic Society of Greater Houston (Photos)

The Islamic Society of Greater Houston (ISGH) will be hosting and co-sponsoring several events within the Houston and Greater Houston area this weekend. Beginning Friday, February 8th, the A Matter of Faith: Reviving the Lost Legacy of Islamic Manners program will be initiated with the Friday Khutbah to be given by Imam Tahir Anwar at Masjid Al-Salaam, will continue with a lecture following Isha Prayers, and will culminate in workshop to be held on Saturday February 9th, also with the renowned Imam.

The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) Sister Wing will be sponsoring The Essence of Sunnah, a sisters only halaqa, on Friday February 8th on experiencing the love for our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) at Maryam Islamic Center and in addition, Saturday February 9th marks the second installment of the Second Saturdays monthly series with the Risala Organization where Usama Canon will continue with Lessons of the Book of Assistance, Chapter 2, On Intentions.
