Emerald City's Cinderella at the Broadway Theatre is closing tomorrow January 6, 2013. The last show is 10 a.m. This production of Cinderella is for children three to ten years of age. It is a funny production. There is of course the beautiful Cinderella, an uptight step mother and two step sisters. The step sisters are played by a burly man in a beard and a skinny wirey man in a blonde wig.
The beauty of this show is that the kids simply enjoy the story. How many fathers gladly embarrassed themselves by playing tea party with their little girls or making puppet socks. It appears this production is not much different than sitting in the living room playing tea party or horsing around with your kids.
Tomorrow is the last day to take your little ones to see Emerald City's production of Cinderella at the Broadway Theatre in Water Tower Place, 175 E. Chestnut St, Chicago, IL 60611. Tickets are $37.75.
