This Weekend: Edge of LA International Wine Festival

The 3rd Annual Edge of LA International Wine Festival will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 2:30pm to 5:30pm at Michael's Tuscany Room and Friends of the Croatian Cultural Center in San Pedro, California. The event features small production wineries from all over the world, including, California, Chile, Croatia, Italy, Spain, France, Hungary and Argentina. Examples of some of the wineries that will be offering tastings this year are Sculpterra (Paso Robles, CA); Attila Gere (Southern Hungary); Vina Calina (Chile); In Situ (Chile); C.G. di Arie Vineyard and Winery (Sierra Foothills); Domaines Bunan (Provence, France); and Condamine L'Eveque (Languedoc, France).

Tickets are $65 in advance and $75 on the day of the event. There is a VIP Ticket package for $150 ($170 on the day of the event), which includes 2 wine festival tickets, 2 commemorative logo wine glasses and 1 VIP parking pass. They are also offering a special discount for the designated driver in your group.

A portion of the proceeds and all of the money raised from the silent auction items will go to support the non-profit organization, Recovery at Sea.
