Some days you gotta dance and this Saturday is a prime opportunity to do so. Sandy De Lara will host the 3rd Annual Black & White Salsa Ball at Sterling Hotel Dallas from 9:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. The BWSB has come to be a much-anticipated tradition in DFW, channeling Mrs. De Lara’s signature classy/sassy approach to entertainment within a sophisticated salsa setting. Sandy is upping the ante in 2012, though, bringing premium entertainers from the East coast.

International salsa music icon Nelson Torres of New York will feature as guest deejay and the globe-trotting Edwin Rivera, also of New York, will make his Dallas debut as he leads the dance lesson included with admission. The celebrated Choreographer/Performer/Musician is well qualified - he's a powerful force in the salsa arena as evidenced by his portrayal of Roberto Roena in the Lopez-Anthony film El Cantante and his first music album, The Soul of a Dancer.

When asked what else Sandy De Lara has in store for BWSB and the rest of 2012, Marketing Director Yves Ortegon said:

In the coming months Sandy will present a series of workshops that promise to invigorate and electrify. She is presently working on a suite of instructional video products that range from partner work to footwork to ladies styling, scheduled to be released in the late second quarter. Finally, we can expect even more collaborations and guest appearances from some of the leading dancers in the country as Sandy embarks on her greatest project yet.
