Dallas bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts will be hitting the highways this weekend and enjoying premier riding weather with a little rain this evening but sunshine Saturday and Sunday. Some of the highlights are listed below.
Tomorrow – June 2nd:
4th Annual Harley’s For Hooters Fun Run will be taking place with a busy schedule that will keep you riding and fellowshipping all day; kickstands up at 11:00AM. The day includes stopping at 5 locations, and the first 25 bikes to register get a free run T-shirt (event details).
B.A.C.A. (Bikers Against Child Abuse) holds their ‘Big Old Biker Bash’ that raises funds to advocate for the children of Tarrant, Johnson and Denton Counties. A bike show will begin at 10:00AM at Eagle Mountain Cycle. The run will start with first bike out at noon and last bike in at 4:00PM (event details).
Bandidos MC Denton Chapter 3rd Anniversary Party will begin at noon at Hailey’s Club, 122 W Mulberry St, Denton (event details).
Sunday - June 3rd
Texas Scooter Times will host its Waxahachie Motorcycle Swap Meet at the Ellis County Expo Center at the 287 & I35 service road. Many vendors and cycle shops will be bringing winter inventory so they will be willing to make a deal (event details).
Remember, Suds and Butterfly maintains ‘Texas Run Flyers’ on their website for the entire state. They can pretty much keep you in-the-know about motorcycle events.
Everything is just a short putt from the DFW Metroplex which makes the weekend perfect. Remember, everyone ride safe and sober because no one wants their Harley going to jail. It’s important to keep the rubber side down.
