"The economy should serve the interests of workers and their families who have built this nation and who make up the vast majority of the population," writes Bob Hart, Green Party candidate for the 12th Congressional District of Ohio.
"I advocate a full-employment economy and a living wage for every worker. In a healthy economy every worker should be able to find a good-paying job. If the private sector can’t create such jobs, the public sector must step in to do so."
Bob Hart is holding coffee meet-and-greets this coming Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. to talk with voters in the 12th District. On Saturday, March 1 Hart will be at Jeni's Ice Cream, 1 West Bridge Street in Dublin. On Sunday, March 2 the meet-and-greet will be at the Global Gallery Cafe, 3535 North High Street in Columbus.
Hart's campaign theme is Representing People Not Corporations, reflecting his opposition to the distorting influence of money on our democracy, which creates political and economic inequality. His campaign will focus on the critical issues of full employment, living wage jobs, universal health care, green energy initiatives, and a guaranteed college education.
