This weekend, Clint Eastwood brings the story of Four Seasons to the big screen

The Broadway hit “Jersey Boys” sings its way to the big screen this weekend, with director Clint Eastwood bringing the story of the rock band The Four Seasons to life. The sequel to the popular comedy “Think Like a Man” is also new in theaters Friday, for those looking for more light-hearted fare. Read about those movies, and a host of independent films coming to St. Louis theaters, below.

Jersey Boys”: Directed by Clint Eastwood, this musical drama follows the formation and growth to fame of the rock band The Four Seasons, which rose to prominence in the 1950s and 60s thanks to the impressive falsetto belonging to lead singer Frankie Valli (John Lloyd Young). Each of the four band members narrates a part of the story as the New Jersey natives contend with fame, family, and the Mafia. Runtime: 134 minutes. Rated R for language throughout.

Think Like a Man Too”: This comedy sequel directed by Tim Story follows all the couples as they travel to Las Vegas for a wedding, but some crazy situations threaten everyone’s relationships. The cast includes Michael Ealy, Adam Brody, Taraji P. Henson, Kevin Hart, Regina Hall, Meagan Good, and more. Runtime: 106 minutes. Rated PG-13 for crude sexual content including references, partial nudity, language and drug material throughout.
