This Weekend in Cincinnati Jazz

2012 is off to a good start with jazz shows throughout the Queen City. This Weekend in Cincinnati Jazz touches on three of them:

Thursday night is a good opportunity to check out Saxophonist Josh Quinlan and his quartet at The Blue Wisp's new location on 7th and Race. The show starts at 8:30pm with an $8 admission ($5 for Students).

Pappadeaux serves up some of the best New Orleans Style seafood in the City. It also serves some great Jazz. Add a little good luck to your Friday the 13th with dinner and the sounds of Bob Rowlette on Bass, Ray Heckman on Sax, and special guest, Summers Hagerman on Guitar. Pappadeaux is located at 11975 Springdale Lake Drive, in Springdale (behind the cinemas). The music plays from 6-9pm

On a cold Saturday Saturday evening, warm things up with some Brazilian Jazz, courtesy of April Aloisio, at the Iron Horse Restaurant, 40 Glendale Village Square, in Glendale.
