It's time for celebrating the fathers and father figures in our lives, and it's also time to find out what's happening in the blues. Why not combine the two and take your father or someone who plays that role for you out to hear some great blues this weekend? There;s a lot to choose from!

Here's what's happening:

Friday, Luther "Houserocker" Johnson will be at Blind Willie's. The Breeze Kings are at Blue Moon Tavern in Buford. Marty Manous is at Darwin's, Frankie's Blues Mission is at Fat Matt's for Frankie Lee's birthday, and Truitt Lollis at Nik's Place. Stoney Brooks at Northside Tavern.

Saturday, Big Bill Morganfield will be at Blind WIllie's. Sal's Soulful Sinners are at Darwin's, and J.T. Speed is at Fat Matt's. Little G Weevil is at Nik's Place. The Breeze Kings are at Northside Tavern. The Bluesberry Festival is taking place in downtown Norcross as well, with a blueberry market, restaurant specials all over town, a mini-beerfest at Iron Horse Tavern, and live music in the partk next to Iron Horse Tavern from Little G Weevil, T Grease Pain, and Truitt Lollis,

Sunday, Snake Legs are at Fat Matt's. Nathan Morgan is at Nik's Place, and Uncle Sugar is at Northside Tavern.
