Lots happening in the world of Colorado film this weekend. The Colorado Independent Women of Film festival began last night and continues through tomorrow night at the Bug Theatre. Come see shorts, music videos, trailers and more from prominent and up-and-coming women in the Colorado film industry. The schedule can be found online.

More news from Haylar Garcia and the “Red Harvest” team. The real name of the film has been released, and it is “An American Terror”. According to Garcia, the story line may turn out to be one of the most controversial in Colorado film history, and fans who are interested in learning the most up-to-date information should “like” the film's facebook page to keep up with the latest news.

Ketrick Copeland and Kasha Fauscett are putting together a TV pilot called “The Inner Dimension”, a show about characters trapped in a strange shadowy world, where they can see us but we can only glimpse passing images of them. In order to shoot the pilot, they are raising funds on Indie-gogo, a crowd-funding website. Similar to Kickstarter, Indie-gogo differs mainly in that participants can keep whatever funds are pledged before a certain date. On Kickstarter, funding is only received if a pre-determined goal is met.
