Smokin’ Eagles International BBQ Festival – Friday through Sunday, August 8th through 10th at Gateway Harbor in the Tonawandas. Seventh annual competition will feature food competitions and tastings, live music, kids’ competitions and more. Find the complete schedule of events and more information at sebbq.com.

Lewiston Art Festival – Saturday and Sunday, August 9th and 10th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days on Center St. in Lewiston. 48th annual juried show features more than 175 artists and crafters. Saturday will also feature the KeyBank Chalk Walk competition throughout the day. Find out more about the festival at artcouncil.org.

America’s Grape Country Wine Festival – Saturday and Sunday, August 9th and 10th at the Chautauqua County Fairgrounds, 1089 Central Ave. in Dunkirk. The sixth annual event will feature live music, wine tasting, vendors, seminars and more. Advanced sale prices for the wine festival are $16.13 (including tax and fees) for one-day passes and $21.50 (including tax and fees) for two-day passes; designated driver tickets are $5.38 (including tax and fees); prices increase at the gate. Admission includes a cloth wine tote, a commemorative glass, a taster’s guide, educational seminars and parking for the event. Find out more about the festival at www.agcwinefestival.com.
