Come out to Peddler’s Village in Lahaska, Pennsylvania this weekend, December 7-8, for the Annual Christmas Festival. The festival will take place Saturday, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Peddler’s Village is home to over 70 specialty shops, six restaurants, the 70-room Golden Plough Inn, Giggleberry Fair and many seasonal traditions. This weekend, The Village is even more exciting with live entertainment and a parade at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Santa and Mrs. Claus, girl scouts, dance troops and the Central Bucks East marching band will make this an event you won’t want to miss. Other parade participants and live festival entertainment will include the Season’s Greetings Eagles Pep Band, Spiced Punch Singers (Victorian carolers), The Overtones, Stiltwalker and more. Santa will entertain children and their holiday wish lists at his indoor workshop, located in Giggleberry Fair, after the parade.
In addition to the parade and performances throughout the weekend, there will also be plenty of other activities for the family. Enjoy hot mulled cider and marshmallow roasting. And remember to stop by the Annual Gingerbread House Competition and Display, housed in the Village Gazebo. For many visitors, this is an absolute must-see this time of year.
