This week's video game releases (1/19/2010)

Capcom releases its first title this year with Dark Void for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC systems.  Featuring vertical combat via jetpacks, players take on the role of William Augustus Grey trapped in a parallel universe. To find his way home, Grey must battle the Watchers, an alien race set on enslaving all of mankind.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories for the PS2 and PSP is a reimagining of the first SIlent Hill. Following the events of the car crash that left Harry Mason and Cheryl separated, players must survive and seek out the truth.

One game that might bring the nostalgia back for some PS1 fans is Konami's prequel to the strategy RPG Vandal Hearts.  Set for Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network releases, Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment resembles the chess-type play of the Ogre Tactics and Final Fantasy Tactics games.

Satisfashion (Wii)

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (PS2, PSP)
