Television fans will be excited for some season premieres of their favorite shows, as well as a few special presentations. Here are the highlights on TV this week.
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 14
‘Cougar Town’
(ABC at 8:30 p.m. EST/7:30 p.m. PST)
"Cougar Town" had an extended hiatus when the season three premiere was postponed from the fall of 2011 to the winter of 2012. The Courteney Cox hit is back on Valentine's Day with an episode called "Ain't Love Grand."
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 15
'Survivor’
(CBS at 8 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST)
The 24th season of the desert island reality show is called, "Survivor: Two Tribes, One Camp, No Rules." This time around teams are split men versus women, but there is a new twist — they will share one beach.
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 16
'Exporting Raymond’
(HBO at 8 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST)
'Exporting Raymond’ has its TV premiereon HBO. The documentary follows "Everybody Loves Raymond" creator, Phil Rosenthal, as he attempts to bring his hit sitcom to Russia. It chronicles the casting sessions, shoots and executive meetings.
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 19
'The Amazing Race’
(CBS at 8 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST)
Season 20 of "The Amazing Race" will bring the competitors to five continents, including first time trips to Paraguay and Azerbaijan. They will travel to 22 cities traversing almost 40,000 miles to compete in challenges like training with Masai warriors and looking for quarters in a German castle.
'The Simpsons'
(FOX at 8 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST)
"The Simpsons" celebrate a huge milestone — 500 episodes. In the episode the family moves out of Springfield to an off-the grid community. Their neighbor is Julian Assange. The WikiLeaks founder actually provides the voice over for his animation.
'The Celebrity Apprentice’
(NBC at 9 p.m. EST/8 p.m. PST)
Donald Trump chooses between a new batch of stars in season 12 of the series. Some of the cast includes Arsenio Hall, Penn Jillette, Adam Carolla, Clay Aiken, Debbie Gibson, Vitoria Gotti, George Takei and Cheryl Tiegs.
