This week you can attend several events in and around Crestline.

Second District Supervisor Janice Rutherford will be the guest speaker at this Wednesday's Crestline CONNECT Network Meeting at 7:30 a.m. at Billy Bear's coffee shop on Lake Drive next to the post office. Please plan to come and bring your questions for the Supervisor. Remember to bring your business cards and any information, flyers, brochures that you would like to share with the group.

Rim of the World Historical Society is opening the Mountain History Museum to the public this coming weekend. The museum will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting. Museum Address: 27176 Peninsula Drive, Lake Arrowhead, CA.

This year’s special exhibit features the history of lumbering (logging) in the San Bernardino Mountains.

Steve Tilden from the Mountain Boys and Girls Club is announcing the Grand Opening of the organization's new Thrift Store in Cedar Glen and the first annual Cedar Glen Car Show. The Boys & Girls Club of the Mountain Communities helps more than 200 children at three locations: downtown Crestline, Lake Arrowhead Elementary and Valley of Enchantment Elementary. Please come out and support this event. Come see for yourself on Sunday May 25, at Cedar Glen, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
