Avoid negative people. Only interact with positive people.
Reasons you should only interact with positive people: they make you smile when you are feeling sad, uplift you when you are feeling down, motivate you to reach your goals, bring out the best in you, encourage you to keep trying, and bring sunshine around on a gloomy day.
Unfortunately, negative people are everywhere. Select your friends wisely an avoid negative people. Remember, “Negative people are just like weeds, you must get rid of them." Be happy, leave haters alone!
If you hang around negative people, find a new group of friends to hang around. Avoid negative people because they will keep you down and cause sadness. Also, if family members are negative, limit the amount of time you interact with them.
If you are feeling sad, depressed or suicidal contact a mental health agency or psychiatrist in your area.
