This week at the Rhode Island State House

This week at the Rhode Island State House, Rhode Island legislators are busy with several committee meetings. According to the legislative calendar, both House and Senate committees are holding public meetings.

The Rhode Island House of Representatives has seven committees meeting from this afternoon until Thursday afternoon. The committees meeting this week include:

1. The House Committee on Corporations
2. The House Committee on Finance
3. The House Committee on the Judiciary
4. The House Committee on Labor
5. The House Committee on Health, Education and Welfare
6. The House Committee on Municipal Government
7. The House Committee on Oversight

The Rhode Island Senate is also holding committee meetings. This week seven Senate committees will be meeting at various locations at the state house. The committees meeting this week are:

1. The Senate Committee on Corporations
2. The Senate Committee on Finance
3. The Senate Committee on Housing and Municipal Government
4. The Senate Committee on the Judiciary
5. The Senate Committee on Education
6. The Senate Committee on Environment and Agriculture
7. The Senate Committee on Rules
