Beginning on Tuesday this week, both the Rhode Island House of Representatives’ and the Rhode Island Senate’s committee will meet to in public meetings to discuss various proposed laws. This week according the Rhode Island General Assembly calendar, there are 19 committees meeting at the state house.
The meetings are split almost evenly between the House of Representatives and the Senate. This week in the course of three days, 10 committees on the house side and nine committees on the senate side will meet.
According to the Legislative Committee calendar, which is current as of 1:52 p.m. today, the following committees are meeting this week:
