Paint The Town Art Auction – Thursday, November 7th from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Buffalo History Museum, located at One Museum Ct. in Buffalo. The 15th annual celebration of art, history and community is a fundraiser featuring live and silent auctions, with a variety of artworks by artists with Buffalo ties; there will also be food and beverages and live music. Christmas in the Country – Thursday through Sunday, November 7th through 10th at the Hamburg Fairgrounds Event Center, Expo, Marketplace, Grange and NYS Police Buildings. Featuring 400 artisans from more than two dozen states, two Canadian provinces, Germany and Great Britain, it’s a great place to get a jump start on holiday shopping – or finish it up. Admission is $8 for adults, free for children 12 and under; hours are Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – find out more at www.the-fairgrounds.com.
Share the Bounty – Friday through Monday, November 8th through 11th at participating wineries on the Niagara Wine Trail. Each winery will have different charges or donations for tastings – this is not a ticketed event; tasting fees and donations will be designated for different charities at each winery. Keuka Holidays – Saturday and Sunday, November 9th and 10th and November 16th and 17th at participating wineries on the Keuka Lake Wine Trail. Tickets are $37 per person or $57 per couple (designated drivers tickets also available) and include food and wine sampling at each winery, plus a handmade grapevine wreath at your starting winery and commemorative ornaments at each stop.
